ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS OF PT MEDIKALOKA HERMINA Tbk

Jakarta, 28 April 2019 - PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk ("Hermina", "the Company") recorded financial statements for the period ended March 31, 2019 (1Q19) with net income of Rp901.5 billion, an increase of 20.8% when compared with the same period in 2018. The Company also generated profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of Rp220.7 billion with margins increasing to 24.5%. This achievement shows an increase in EBITDA of 41.1% when compared to the same period in 2018. The Company has gradually succeeded in increasing margins thanks to the initiation of a cost reduction that began immediately after the IPO. Net profit in 1Q19 was recorded at Rp74.4 billion, an increase of 46.7% compared to net income in the 1Q18 period.

In this quarter, as many as 64% of inpatient visits and 50% of outpatients were National Health Insurance (JKN) patients. The composition of the Company's business that comes from general (non-JKN) patients and JKN patients has been stable in the last few quarters, showing the volume of general patients who are able to survive and grow. Although almost half of the Company's net income comes from JKN patients, the Company is able to maintain its margins by applying economies of scale, increasing operational efficiency, and adopting technology.
